2012 Registration for the Chicago Kids Triathlon is now open!!
The Chicago Kids Triathlon is one of the largest triathlons for kids in the world, attracting over 1,000 youngsters! Open to boys and girls 7-14 years old, the event has individual and relay team competition.
In 2011 the event sold out, so if you plan to race "Chicago Kids" in 2012, be sure to register early!
For kids 7-10 years: 100 meter Swim, 4k Bike & 1k Run.
For kids 11-14 years: 200 meter Swim, 8k Bike & 2k Run.
(Age as of 12/31/12 per USAT rules)
The Chicago Kids Triathlon is the perfect "launching pad" for a youngster to break into the sport. The swim takes place in Lake Michicago at Chicago's Montrose Beach, including a shallow water start parallel to the beach. The bike and run take place on closed park roadways and running paths all along Chicago's beautiful lakefront.
